C-47 "Argonia"
What to do while the paint dries on your scale model? Get the coloured pencils out and draw the kit's box art of course! 🤣
I’ve not drawn for quite some years but used to really enjoy it. Inspired by pencil artist, Alastair Howie, I bought myself an excellent set of coloured pencils possibly some 20 years ago and came across them again the other day.
I’m thinking this could be something to keep my head and hands busy while I let that paint dry! 🎨
This drawing is of the C-47, named "Argonia", of 94th TCS and lead aircraft of the 439th on D-Day 6th June 1944, when commanded by Major Joseph A Beck II and flown from Station 462 at Upottery, Devon.
